Social
Only official accounts are allowed. No fan pages. The fields should be left blank for most older movies.
Social links are not yet localized. The main distributor's accounts should be used.
English content: When the original distributor does not have official pages, the accounts of an English-language international distributor can be used. e.g. If a Canadian movie does not have an official Facebook page, the US or UK page can be used.
Non-English content: When the original distributor does not have official pages, the accounts of an English-language distributor can be used instead. e.g. If a Russian movie does not have an official Facebook page, the UK, CA or UK page can be used.
Other Databases
Please make sure you add the right ID.
When there are two duplicate entries on IMDb, we recommend adding the ID of the original or most complete entry.
It is sometimes better to leave the field blank than link to an incorrect or confusing entry on IMDb. This is typically an issue with non-English content.
If a IMDb ID is locked and incorrect, usually as a result of duplicate entries being merged on IMDb, please report the issue.
IMDb ID When Creating an Entry
It is recommended to enter an IMDb ID when creating an entry. If entered, the ID will be checked against the database and alert you if there is already an entry with that ID. If there is no corresponding entry on IMDb you should leave the IMDb ID blank.
